Sounds good. I understand . I have an a&p here that can do Mooney's but complains about them just because of the complexity and how everything is located. I like the advice about a Mooney's service center for first annual. I also think when I am ready I will seek out a good Mooney's a/p for the prebuy.

Thanks for the response yeah I really do like my piper it flies great easy to fly but it's just so darn slow. At least half of my flying is cross country now so I really do want something that's a little bit more efficient TimeWise. And I will rarely fly with more than 3 people so not sure which model will be best for me but when I started diggingI'm sure I'll figure it out

Greetings all... Does anyone know a part number for the Hoskins Anti Collision power supply P/N 700801 flash tube/strobe that it uses? I have looked and see a couple generic but not sure if they will work... Just wondering if anyone else has had to change this bulb out...Power supply still works ok - just need a new bulb...

Also - since this plane will obviously be more complex than my fixed gear - what should I make sure has been completed or recently completed so I am not hit with a huge inspection right after I purchase the Mooney?? ( IE - fuel bladders, landing gear issues. ??) Thanks again for all of the advice!!
