  1. Thanks for the tip, a little out of my price range though. I'm down to a couple plane options for me, the 182 and 210 fit me. I have yet to try a 33 Debonair or Mooney.
  2. Wow thanks for the offer, it's not that pressing though. That's to much to ask. Thanks
  3. I just checked for fun, from a sitting position the top of my head is 38", I'm not sure what that means but maybe that will help someone in the future after I figure out if it will work or not.
  4. Funny thing, my leg is two long to drive a vette, it jams between the console and the steering wheel! I get what you mean though, I have my fingers crossed. I may be stuck with a Cessna.
  5. Cruiser, There is so much both ways on the net. I'm assuming that getting in might be tough but im hoping that once i'm in i'd fit?
  6. Hi, My name is Greg and i live in the Portland OR Vancouver WA area. I just registered here and I'm excited to learn more about Mooney's. Well i'm sure everyone has heard this a number of times, I'm tall at 6'8" and decently built around 275#. I had my hopes up about a commander 112/114 but they just aren't big enough for me to fly comfortably for any time. My question is this I'm wondering if anyone in the area would be kind enough to let me sit in there m20f or J to see if it works for me? I've done a lot of research over the years due to my size and everyone says the mooneys are great for tall people. When i see one on the ramp though they look so small, I'm assuming this is an optical illusion. Looking for any tips or ideas, open to all ideas etc... Thanks again and excited to be part of the site. Greg
