Foreflight - New Iphone Interface?

Just updated foreflight and they have changed the interface. Seems cluttered to me, what do you think?

I like the new much better on the phone and the iPad. The interface as well as the ability to download in the background.

I like Foreflight

I just wish it was compatible with devices other than the Stratus.  One product and a single distribution point is not a good long term strategy in a free market IMHO.

Been playing with the new iPhone interface (the iPad interface didn't change).  I'm still undecided on my final verdict, but I was just so use to the prior iPhone interface it's taking me awhile to get used to it. I supposed it does streamline access to many of the features...fewer screens to click through. But for those of us with aging eyesight, that left-side menu that is now the prime navigation device between sections of the app is a bit of a strain.

 

But the background chart updates will no doubt be the best feature of this version...that was always a pain, that the app essentially just hung on the download screen and you couldn't do anything else while they were loading.

Seems like the foreflight folks just keep digging and improving the software.

WingX would do the same. If you went to a different App, the download would stop and wait...

This is ipad1 experience....
