Mark Riner Posted February 7 Report Posted February 7 Greetings, I’m a new user to mooneyspace, I’m installing a factory new Tiso-0360 on my 1981 M20K. 1752 TT on engine and airframe. The new engine is scheduled to arrive on February 17, my old engine was converted from the GB series to the LB series less than two years ago. I plan to remove all the components that I bought and had certified for the LB conversion prior to sending my old engine back the factory. Would there be anyone out there interested in converting their GB series to the upgraded LB series? If so, I have all the certified components. Components needed for the conversion are Injectors, spider valve, throttle valve, (2) pipes on outlet of throttle valve, (1) pipe to inlet to throttle valve and over boost pop off valve. Pictures could be available.
ad5ut Posted February 10 Report Posted February 10 Hi Mark! Welcome and congrats on the new engine! If you don't mind sharing, what was the lead time like on your factory engine? The -GB3 in N1017G is long in the tooth and I think I will be going factory instead of OH and conversion. If my crank wasn't trash due to an AD when it comes out, then I'd definitely be interested in your components though.
Mark Riner Posted February 13 Author Report Posted February 13 Andrew My factory new engine was ordered on November 19, 2025. The due date for delivery is February 17, 2026. I wound up ordering the engine from progressive air in Kamloops British Columbia. When I was looking at Teledyne Continental motors website. Progressive air phone number was listed there so that is the reason for using them. Mark
