If it is real, that info should be dispersed to all the aviation news outlet. If true, the poor media start is not a good sign for the future. I want it to be true but I don't believe it is.

Jerry Chen hasn’t been CEO in more than ten years. This feels like a 2013ish article that someone slapped a “2026” on.

Where did you see that on FB?  And I'm going to speculate that someone just misunderstood the investment in parts and thought they were going to build aircraft again.

But then we can always hope...

The wording is suspect. "will bring new production aircraft from January 2026". Bad sentence syntax and I suspect someone who has English as a second language (most likely in China) is attempting a play of some kind.

Good news but I give it less than 1% probability ! 

Even less than 0.01% as it seems against the trend for new GA aircraft. Beech, ahem Textron, stopped Baron and Bonanza ! 

I am not sure how much the trend is related to competition from "1M-2M piston with TV screens"? or competition from "200AMU fantastic plastic"? or new MOSAIC rules?

The factory website does still list an acclaim for sale!  
Alas, it’s merely another piece of the business neglected.

Sure, you can totally buy a brand new Mooney! You just have to buy along the entire factory and get it running to have it built
