Mooney-Shiner Posted September 23 Report Posted September 23 Hi, everyone! Does anyone know if there are patterns available for cutting and sewing wing and tail covers for our Mooneys? I’d rather not try to reinvent the wheel by starting completely from scratch if there are templates or designs already out there. Thank you!
Pinecone Posted September 24 Report Posted September 24 Yes, but not to the public that I have seen. The companies that sell them obviously have patterns. 1
Fritz1 Posted September 25 Report Posted September 25 As stated before these are for sale commercially, sometimes a lightly used set comes for sale when an airplane is sold, I have a 25 year old Bruces canopy cover that held up quite well and that I used for travel, a fair amount of know how is is in the choice of the fabric, the liner and the sewing, you may be an expert with a swing machine, then maybe start by getting a 60" roll of paper and make templates 1
