Aerotherm Preheaters

Recommended Posts

Just acquired a new(to me) Ovation 2 without a preheat system installed. As I plan for the Northeast winters ahead I am evaluating preheat options. I have experience with Tanis and Reiff on other aircraft and am familiar with their capabilities. I am also considering the Aerotherm preheaters and would appreciate any comments/information you can provide on the Aerotherm products.

Thanks

Love that photo, Piloto.

An Aerotherm is basically a Hermann-Nelson in a bite-sized, 120v package. I have both a Tanis and an Aerotherm - the Tanis is of course much easier to use (plug and play) but the Aerotherm does a great job too. I use 'em both when it gets really cold. Like it does sometimes in Goose Bay.
