Email from Jen Brandemuehl, Mark Brandenmuehl's widow

I received the following email from Mark Brandemuehl's widow Jen.

The Mooney Summit's Bill Gilliland foundation raised over 11K for her via specific donations while her husband suffered for months at Maricopa burn center in AZ after the tragic crash in his M20V on June 11, 2019.

I want to thank everyone who personally donated to help Jen's family during this time as this allowed visits by immediate family members and mitigation of non insured expenses the family incurred. I was in touch frequently with Jen during this period and saw how she mustered strength to rebuild and grow from this tragedy. I encourage everyone to check the links she has posted below to see how effective our foundation and the support of people can be with crisis intervention.

It's hard to believe Mark passed away over 5 years ago. My book, Forever Fly Free - One Woman's Story of Resilience and the Power of Hope and Love will be published by Regalo Press this October.

I'd like to send a book to every one of Mark's GSB classmates who followed my daily posts when Mark was at the Arizona Burn Center.

It's just a small way for me to thank you and other GSBers for your incredible encouragement and support during one of our family's most difficult times. I have an early chapter titled, "Stanford Classmates." I hope through the book, I can create a bigger platform on the topic of personal resilience, something we can all use more of in our chaotic times.

I'll let everyone know when I have local book events if you want to attend and certainly bring family and friends. My marketing team is planning my book campaign.
