I get a traffic alert (visual and audio) on the ground and in the air, because my GTN750 identifies my own transponder and ADSB output as traffic. I am getting used to it but it is annoying. There must be a way to fix this. Any suggestions or ideas?

Thank you.

I am attaching a picture of the GTN750 screen with the ghost traffic alert.

I remember issues from a while ago with a Software release.  Do you have the latest software in your GTN and your Transponder (GTX345?).  Also as @hypertech mentioned, you may be receiving delayed TIS-B info from a ground station.  Does the ghost plane disappear after a little while?  That would be typical of a TIS-B latency issue that the GTN eventually resolved on its own.

From there you go down the rabbit hole. :o  Have you looked at the Public ADS-B Performance Report (PAPR) to see if your output is within standards?
