If this issue gets to anyone consider moving it outboard to eliminate this issue. i do have to turn it off whenever going IMC since it will start reporting about ~3’ repeatedly as soon as entering the clouds which is a bit unsettling with pax aboard as well as a nuisance. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk They came out with a new version of the hardware a couple of years ago that deals with that problem. The 200-C if I remember correctly. They had a discount to buy the new version, don't know if that is still true. I have had a few installation problems that got fixed, but those were not the fault of the system but of the installer. The only real issue I have is that alot of the approaches in my area have you flying at 2,000 or 3,000 for extended periods, and when you do that it will repeat "3,000, 3,000, 3,000" ad infinitum until I shut the audio off on the com panel. It really helps with landings, annunciates all the way down. 1
AndreiC Posted June 10 Author Report Posted June 10 I am the OP so should report on my experience. I talked to the manufacturer a couple weeks after posting this thread. They asked me to send the unit to them, were unable to replicate the problem but said they changed the board in it under warranty as a precaution, no problems since, works flawlessly. Very helpful. Highly recommended, and very good customer service experience. 1
