bnicolette
Hi guys, I was flipping through my logbooks a couple weeks ago and a friend of mine brought up a good question when he saw this one entry. I had my oil changed and had my mechanic do it. In the entry he wrote that it was serviced with 7qts of Phillips 20W50 and 1 Camguard. Is it actually okay to put Camguard in the entry? I wasn't sure if it was approved by Lycoming and if that might be a problem entry in the book? Thoughts?
FAST FLIGHT OPTIONS LLC
Your good to go. it's an FAA approved additive and in my opinion a plus to run in the 201 in conjunction with the Phillips XC as your doing
jetdriven
We do that too. I woulndt worry about it. In fact, if I was thinking about buying the airplane it would be a plus. How much down, how much a month, Brett?
bnicolette
Byron I kind of have the same feeling with the Mooney now as I do with hand guns......................You can have it when you pry it from my cold dead hands. OR when you buy it from the bank after it puts me into bankruptcy. Thanks for the input guys!
