Let me see if @Alan Fox is around… Alan is a great Resource For pre-flown Mooney parts… Finding an oil temp gauge should be pretty easy… Or getting it OH’d shouldn’t be too difficult… Are you sure it is the gauge and not the sensor? Alan Fox
I should be buying all 7 of the trusses !!
Luke 3405
Thanks for checking. I’m sure it’s the gauge. Had the mechanic check it and remove it for me. I sent it to Texas aircraft instruments and checked with them yesterday. Not sure if they can fix it or have to send it somewhere else, but if I can find one sooner, I would like to get my new plane back in the air. TheAv8r
I've got a Garwin Cluster P/N 22-166-010 removed from an M20C, Oil temp was working when removed. Sounds like you might have a different setup with a Rochester gauge, but if you can replace the cluster, then it should work for you. Luke 3405
Thx Av8. But I don’t think that will work. I have, I believe, a 201 panel.
TheAv8r
Ah, you are correct, the cluster gauges wouldn't work in that case. Best of luck in the search!
Luke 3405
Mine is at the shop to be repaired. But I found a replacement that is the same and can get me back in the air sooner. I suppose I’ll have a spare. Thx for the help
carusoam
Looks like somebody put an M20J up front… Panel, yokes, and interior seem to be updated to about 1990 or so… Did the windshield get sloped with that too? Does the fuel pressure gauge stop at 6 or 60psi? (Rough numbers, the low one is carbureted, the high one is fuel injected) Best regards, -a-
Luke 3405
Morning. Yes the windshield is the sloped 201 one piece. The fuel pressure stops at 6.

Good news… you got the 201 style windshield… very aerodynamic. Bad news… you still have the carb’d O360! Not really bad news… but, I was hoping they put the whole M20J up front for you. Not dealing with a shotgun panel is nice. (I've never flown one, my C came from the factory with a 6-pack).
