M20-264, was it done?

These are original.

Call Wentworth for upgrade parts with gusset weld that eliminates the AD compliance inspections.

MODEL'S  M20B, M20C, M20D, M20E, M20F, M20G, M20J, M20K:

AILERON CONTROL, LH 730005-1

AILERON CONTROL, RH 730006-000

Probably $150 to $250 each depending on used condition

If order new from LASAR was told 6-8 weeks to have made(if you are lucky)-probably $600-$800 for both.

Not an easy replacement-takes several hours and aircraft on jacks as gear mechanism needs

adjusting to make space for removal. Its a Mooney-remove or move several parts to fix or replace one part.

Can a control link that was freshly modified by LASAR be implanted in any airframe (on condition that the part number is the right for the AC serial number) or only in its donor airframe. Wondering cuz I might get unmodified ones and have them reinforced, and swap them for the (non-reinforced) ones in my airframe (to reduce down-time).

Thanks,

Martin

Back in the day when this first came out, LASAR had modified links in stock. They would ship you modified links immediately. With a core charge. They would refund the core charge when they received your links. I would call them. It has been so long I assume the demand is way down these days.
