By far, engine management takes the cake, so ROP vs. LOP. It only takes about 3 posts before there is a contraversy of some kind.

Agreement on the cost in today's dollars of the proverbial "100$ hamburger" and where to get the best one!

MY CFI exminer, an FAA fed at OKC, nonetheless, helped me pull the Cardinal RG out of its parking spot to get on my way home after passing the checkride.  *by the prop*  Someone call the Feds.  On the Fed.

That plane also had masking tape N-numbers. But that is a different story.

Pushing on the prop when moving aircraft?

Are we really reduced to deciding on "The Most Controversial Topic" to be controversial about? What happened to sharing meaningful info that makes our flying more enjoyable or efficient. I think Mike is putting us on so let's not take the bait. LOL  Laughing

My FAA examiner showed me how to drop the Warrior's nose back to level after the last flight by hanging on the prop and yanking down!!  Scared the crap out me.....thought he was going to break the prop right off.  Part of his point was that "those things are built like tanks".
