i have a question for all the Bravo AF1B drivers.  my number 3 CHT reads in line w all other cylinders at start up/taxi but in cruise it is consistently 90-100° cooler than the hottest.  EGT's are all very similar across the board, it's just the #3 CHT that's off. I was told that #3 shares a the engine monitor CHT probe well w the factory CHT probe and can read erratically. any input greatly appreciated.

Find both CHT sensors and see what you have…

Running cooler, isn’t the usual challenge… unless somebody swapped the ship’s CHT sensor with the JPI CHT sensor….

Usually the various piggyback devices are reading 50°F higher…

Spark plug CHT sensors are out…

The common one today is the CHT well piggyback device… still not in the best location, but better….

When it comes to funky CHTs… when all the EGTS are good… it is usually a baffling challenge…

How old are the baffle seals…?

For new silicone seals… we have a guy for that…

Best regards,
