Found this pic online, but would like to find a way to have the little indent lock into place and keep the door open.  My door opens and closes fine the issue is it wont "hold" open, and just swings closed with any wind whatsoever.  Any tricks on repairing these or replacing them with some sort of air shock (3rd pic)?

I wish mine moved easier! It's been bent a couple of times, folded in half when it jammed pulling the door closed.

Mine did the same so I cleaned the corrosion and lubricated it. Now, it doesn't keep the door open! :(

I may try Rich's advice...

Did that each time it jammed. Had my IA do it again at annual. The inner piece just isn't flat anymore.

Bend yours in half then straighten it out. If the bend is close to the full open position, you'll have significant resistance to motion! :D
