The wreckage of a small plane that went down outside of North Bend was found Thursday afternoon, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

The single-engine Mooney M20 departed at 9:30 a.m. from the Arlington Municipal Airport and was bound for Joslin Field in Twin Falls, Idaho but had disappeared, putting its last location near Bandera State Airport.

Officials confirmed that the wreckage was found southeast of Bandera, Washington.

There was an unknown number of people on board, however it is not yet clear if anyone was injured.

The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board will be investigating.

This is a developing story. Please check back for updates.
