This is what happened to mine, but they don't have the Mooney logo. Mine have the 40th Anniversary logo that would look out of place in any model year besides 1994. I bought two from Ebay, only could find the new red ones, though, and they are pretty obvious copies, flat printing, but you have to look hard to notice.
