Need E- gear cable for '77 J

N177MC

Recommended Posts

The emergency drive cable that goes from the crank to the actuator is toast and Mooney has no replacements.

This is for a '77 J that has the very rare crank on the pilots kick panel for E gear extension.

The cable actually looks like a tach cable so maybe someone knws a work-around solution ?

Thanks!

Beegles has a crank... Bet they have a cable too.

McFarlane might be able to duplicate your cable. If you need a spline end, call LASAR parts and talk to Dan.

Clarence

so I had to rescue several gear actuators from his grasp.  He seemed to like to suggest things were not air worthy.  Some attempt to get people to buy parts that do not exist any longer.
