TomH
When companies in aviation go above and beyond, it is our responsibility to recognize them... Had an issue while in flight with a Clarity Aloft headset - boom mike went completely dead. Once home, shipped off the headset for repair. Manufacturer wrote back saying the headset was out of the three year warranty and would update repair status and cost. At this point I was not feeling optimistic. About a week later received email with tracking number and invoice. On the invoice they detailed how they replaced the volume control box, microphone jack plug and wire and even installed a new microphone cover. Headset is being shipped back to me via UPS. No charge on the invoice. This is fantastic service and should be recognized. Also - for those who haven't used this headset, it is my go to during the hot weather months here in Texas (over the bose - so much ear sweat). Really enjoyed this product and now can recommend this company.
81X
+1. While I haven’t had any issues with mine, it’s the best for the hot months in the south. Great product.
MB65E
I love the pair that was given to me. Just flew with a Bose A20 yesterday and it felt like I was wearing a helmet! The headset is amazing. Till getting used to re-positioning the mic but the over fatigue level of wearing a headset all day is gone. -Matt
DXB
Been using my Clarity Aloft since I was a student pilot 8 years ago and love it mostly - but recently the mic boom has become won't hold its position and sags down, so I constantly have to hold the mic up to my lips. Anyone else have this issue? I wonder if their customer service can do something to make it less...um...flaccid? Like some kinda headset Viagra?
carusoam
Great pirep for Clarity Aloft, Tom! I hope all of your pireps are going to be equally detailed and thoughtful! You might get a marketing award from CA. Best regards, -a-
