I will be taking my personal E north later this week, but stopping short of OSH to pick up a cheaper rental car.

@KLudwick  Was there a package price for all the Big G hardware in the O’s panel?

My panel has aged sufficiently…. That a one time project to make it look like the one you have pictured above…. May make a lot of sense….

Obviously Garmin would be motivated to make this happen…but what is Mooney’s motivation?

The ball is in fact in Garmin’s court.  Believe it or not but they need to make their business case work on writing the software required for the change (I say believe it or not because I would have thought the workload wouldn’t be huge for a team of developers they already have on staff)  So far, they haven’t been willing to commit to anything.  Hopefully that will change in the future.

Did Beechcraft/Textron prompt the King Air G1000 upgrade? Nothing I heard says that is so.
