carusoam Posted March 18, 2021 Report Share Posted March 18, 2021 Sending a piece to the lab... Blackstone the oil lab may have the skill as well... It used to be done using an X-ray telescope... College material labs probably have a service fee to cover that... We have a materials guy around here who has identified different Mooney metals... We also have David, that determined an aluminum alloy before, prior to machining blocks of it... Creative PP thoughts only, not a materials engineer...
