Dork signing in here!  This stuff certainly hits my news antenna...........incredibly exciting!!!  Thanks for the post. :D

Checking in with all my MS friends this AM [behind the beat left coaster] before I head to my favorite place...............my airport and my little beloved Mooney.

If you are interested and have the opportunity........ watch National Geographic “Built For Mars” program.  The building of Perseverance Rover.  

An incredible amount of things had to go right to achieve the success of today’s landing.......Wow!!

Just found the answer to my question. The craft landed 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) from it's target site.
