Thank you in advance Yes, If you don’t have the emergency release... there is an option to add the bits of hardware required... Like anything else... Test it before needing it... RobertGary1 Posted January 17, 2021 Report Share Posted January 17, 2021 Trivial. I just took some safety wire around the latch, ran it through the interior panel and put a ring on the end. Someone affixed a red 1” lanyard to this baggage door egress release, then held the lanyard in place with a piece of scrap sheetmetal affixed with velcro to the door. It’s mounted to the aft side of the baggage door to (hopefully) prevent snags if pax are digging around in the baggage compartment during flight. 3 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
