on the G275 read out we get the word PIT MESSAGE which comes on when auto pilot is switched on/ off. Garmin does not explain what this is, panel has G275,GTN 750 and GFC 500. Since we are still learning this fantastic system, thought it meant PILOT IN TRAINING. WILL SAY THAT WHEN ALL THE GARMIN PIECES ARE PUT TO GETHER AND WORK TOGETHER, IS A BEAUTIFY FULL SITE

Time to read the manual.  It is the default for PITCH.  The other default is ROL for roll.

WE HAVE HAD TO REFER TO g5 INSTRUCTIONS before, GARMIN IS MOVING SO FAST that INFO FOR g275 IS NOT AVAILABLE and now we have G275 mod 1 installed. thanks for info, PILOT IN TRAINING

The display is not the important thing here.  That message is relative to the GFC 500.  So the AFMS for the GFC 500 is the place to look.

Speaking of the GI275, our ADI is being installed as I speak. I asked the shop whether the unit can display wind and direction with the optional OAT probe installed and he said no, that to gain that functionality would require two units be installed. Is this true?

WE INSTALLED TWO g275 units with air temp to get added functions, one of those gotcha items , that added $ to project. but once paid for pain goes away when bells and whistles are installed and flown ' temp probe add about a days work as wiring goes thru wing
