Missile=Awesome
There is one guy in particular that has a weird mad scientist lust for turbine power in Mooney. What’s up with that?
Missile=Awesome
Start a thread for that...or just keep inserting turbine wanna be sauce like a sixteen year old in his first whorehouse.

Come on, you know that if you need twice the performance of a PC12 you need a PC24 ;-)

Besides the nay sayers. 186 KTAS at 55% power ROP on 14 to 15 gph at 12,000 feet is a real eye opener...and then you've got all kinds of go faster options from there. I've been shopping, test flying and bothering Rocket owners. They aren't that efficient or that fast, depending on which direction you look at it from. I don't think they will give you 180 at 12k on 15 gph. Maybe on 15gph at FL200. They go fast, but they do it up high while burning lots of gas. There's plenty of data on here provided by current and former owners.

Those were the REAL numbers he was writing - I was setting in the plane beside him when we did it.
geoffb
I'd buy that one.

I own a Missile and while you might not think they are a 180 knot airplane, they are. Not with a headwind of course. I don’t have to burn 15gph to get there. Or fly over 10,500...

Without flying a tight level box and averaging all 4 GPS speeds I take all performance claims with a healthy dose of of skepticism.
