Salvo Posted October 9, 2020 Report Posted October 9, 2020 I'm selling my Mooney (N57227) at gmaxamericanaircraft.com and have a lightly used Muncy Tug for sale. $497. Come and get it at Denton, Texas (KDTO). 1 Quote
carusoam Posted October 10, 2020 Report Posted October 10, 2020 Salvo, what’s next? Selling the Mooney can be tough... but selling the Muncy, that’s like getting out of aviation... Fortunately Mr. Muncy is still with us on MS. Best regards, -a- Quote
Salvo Posted October 11, 2020 Author Report Posted October 11, 2020 Still in aviation! Purchased a 1986 Malibu, and the Muncy won't fit under the long nose. 2 Quote
Tx_Aggie Posted October 18, 2020 Report Posted October 18, 2020 Still for sale? I’m interested, what’s a Muncy Tug? I’m in Midland, what model was your former Mooney? Quote

If you search I think he elaborated on how he built it (parts required, etc). 1 Quote

I tried to search for the thread but couldn’t find it. Must’ve been a long time ago. Can anyone post the link? Quote
Salvo Posted October 26, 2020 Author Report Posted October 26, 2020 Don Muncy (Dallas, TX) is still a member and is still building tugs as far as I know. It's his own unique and creative design. All electric and much cheaper than a gas-powered tug. Mine has been sold, but you can see if he is still building them. I posted a photo of a Muncy tug with my original post. Quote
DonMuncy Posted October 26, 2020 Report Posted October 26, 2020 Yes, I'm here and well. And yes, I still make and sell my tugs. If anyone is interested, take a look at my gallery. Or PM me. 2 Quote
Stnelson903 Posted October 27, 2020 Report Posted October 27, 2020 Don built one for me. Best tug I’ve ever come across. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1 Quote
