LED Light Conversion for M20TN Acclaim (2008)

Has anyone converted to LED? The tail strobe light looks straight forward.

I know you have to remove the power supply units. I have heard that you can then use the power supply wire to be used as a sync wire. Do you have to splice some length into the power wire for it to reach the new LED Light?  Are the wingtip power supply units located closer to the wing tip or where?

Any tips greatly appreciated

i did.  mine are not synced at the moment.  there is an extra wire i was going to use to sync them together.  its a drain wire according to the schematics.  i think i can wire those together and then connect them at the center connector.  i haven't got that far yet.  plane is getting some avionics work at the moment.

That is who I purchased them from. He helped answer questions but not a mechanic and not expert on every plane out there.

Changing all the ACL and POS. The tail is easy one. The panel on the tail has 4 screws that holds power supply on back side. Don’t see any panels like that under the wings??

On the Bravo it was about 3/4 of the way out on each wing. On the Acclaim the power supplies may be riveted onto an access panel.
