LANCECASPER
This FlySam (Standby Attitude Module) was recently removed for a panel makeover in a turboprop. It has a 2" attitude, altitude, airspeed, slip and vertical trend. You can also wire in heading information. If you want, with an optional MD32 Magnetometer - you can even have an independent heading source. Selectable orientation (vertical or horizontal). Built in backup battery. These are the same backup units used in the Mooney Ultras. This would be an ideal backup for G1000 Mooneys. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjWyyx27kRg&feature=emb_logo Removed as working. MIm20c
This would make a perfect backup for my aspen... Should have gone with this or a esi500 instead of my 340A paperweight.
StevenL757
The MD-302 SAM is in a similar class as the L-3 ESI-500...it doesn't get much better as far as a backup attitude source goes. Someone should be grabbing this. These things are ultra-reliable and a joy to fly behind.
ZuluZulu
If I wasn't 2-3 years away from a glass panel upgrade I'd snap this up. Alas...
