OK, when I was getting ready to update my panel, I bought some used goodies on eBay, and now that I am done, I have sold all the old avionics, and now have one extra left to sell. Long story cut short, I bought an extra setup before landing a used 2000 system which was then upgraded to MAX after install.

See pics below for all that comes together. The main EFD1000, Config module, ACU, new ACU install kit, Sonalert, switch, quick connect pitot/static connectors, and the RSM. I bought it off eBay, so comes sans paperwork or tags. PayPal, please, and I will cover shipping in US. It's sitting doing me no good, someone put this in their panel! I also have a MicroSD card that will unlock the synthetic vision that will come with it as well!

How does one acquire the paperwork for a legal install in a Mooney?

My avionics shop installed the used 2000 system for me... not 100% sure beyond that?

I don't think any "paperwork" is required other than the 337 and sign off from an avionics shop. I have a used Aspen in my airplane as well. It also came without any paperwork.

still have this and, is it also the Pro/IFR version (not Pro/VFR)? I’m assuming it has a guarantee to work ;o) and no problem with 14 volt system...

Paperwork , not required for part 91 aircraft , BUT some installers require it anyway..

Yes sir, still available. I never installed it, but was given the "guaranteed to work" when I bought it, so I will honor that as well. Yes, this is the IFR version, not just the VFR version. If you get it and it doesn't work, send it back I will give you your money back. Fair enough?

Well....if you're installing it per an STC, you're supposed to have permission to use the STC to alter the aircraft....

That is fair. Let me see what funds I can get but first the STC is something I do want to verify — that is 2k by itself from what I read and not sure if it is needed for a used unit...

The absolute best advice you can get here is to talk with your Aspen dealer that will do the install and he will tell you what (if any) documentation is needed and if HE will provide it.
