rbridges
Probably a dumb question, but here goes. I have a Garmin CDI that works with a 430W and Stec 50. A buddy has a 430W and a Brittain autopilot, but his Garmin CDI has a bad glideslope. If he took my CDI, could it be set up to work with his system? Vance Harral
Yes. The GI-106A has analog left/right outputs that can be connected to the Brittain, same as any "old school" CDI. We have a Garmin GI-106A CDI hooked to our Brittain B-5 autopilot. Works quite well for tracking GPS, VOR, and LOC courses.
