In bumps, they flop around a lot... enough to be unable to follow them... So... if using it in IMC, and you don’t have a second AI... try to not rely on it... I learned about TC wear during my IR training... never paid much attention to it any other time... Never tried to keep the sunny side up using the TC either... See what an instrument OH costs for it... I sent a TnB in for OH once, because it made grinding noises each time it was shut down... the instrument shop sent it back to me... said the grinding sounds were normal...
