Shaw Fuel Caps #457 1015-12 for sale

Up for sale is a set of Shaw Aerospace Fuel caps part #457 1015-12.  When I was first getting my Mooney M20F I was not happy with the caps that were installed on the plane at the time and got these from an aircraft salvage site that said they came off a Mooney M20F.  When they arrived they did not fit my F model.  I do not know exactly what models they will fit but hopefully someone can use them.

 

When trying to set a price I found 1 auction on eBay that offered this exact part number.  He wanted $219 for one cap that although it was painted very pretty, actually had damage around the edge of the cap.  I will sell them each for $160 or the set for $300 with shipping included in the USA.

Seeing if @OSUAV8TER has any interest... or knows what version of Mooney they go on... could be the bladder related caps...(?)

 Yes these caps are for planes fitted with fuel bladders.   That's the same part number on my F with bladders.

So that explains what happened then.  As I recall the salvage company said they were from a different year F than mine.  But I had checked and that year used the same caps as mine when I ordered them.  I assume that plane had bladders and the Salvage company didn't list that as a difference.  Just that it came off an F.  Ironically, I have bladders now but I have the new locking caps they currently use.
