Prior owner Posted August 2, 2020 Report Posted August 2, 2020 The only upside was that I also decided to replace a suspect Fuel hose (It looked torqued) from the boost pump to the engine driven pump, and doing so increased my GPH during takeoff by Almost 1 GPH. Quote

Oil consumption was nearly at Lycoming’s max allowable per hour. I replaced all four cylinders, and even during the initial break-in runs the oil temp never climbed above 185 F. I had also been using an oil/air separator as a bandaid to control oil consumption, which I have since removed. I’ll report here when I’m in the clear, but it’s looking pretty good. 4 Quote
