gsxrpilot
If I were in the market for an E, I'd seriously consider this one. An Stec30/alt is a really good autopilot for this airplane.

atrosa
that is a solid E. won't last long. for my own education what does Dialed mean? Like using a micrometer to measure wear?

carusoam
I read Alan had an E..... Now I see where that came from! Sure looks like a forever plane has been sent to market! As for meanings of dialed in... there is no standard. Generally.... mechanically... Checking and adjusting things to perfection... it runs right. Pilotly... checking and adjusting things to perfection... things like rigging... it flys straight, at book speeds or better... Lacking a standard, PPIs are still a good idea to protect one’s wallet... A great M20E makes a great forever plane... The avionics are ‘light’ according to Alan... they are early Ovation standard or better... PP thoughts only, Best regards, -a-
Air pirate
Beautiful aircraft.!!! I would have jumped on this but the nice people I worked for cut a bunch of us old guys out. Anyone need a sales and marketing guy with extensive experience and proven results so I can buy this ? best of luck and I’m sure it will sell fast!

Close but not quite, Micrometers measure thickness, dial indicators measure run out. Clarence
nels
Honestly, this looks to be a really nice plane at a very fair price. The roller cam engine and B hub really make it worth thinking about if you are in the market.

If buying a plane from Alan... he has this magic shelf... On the magic shelf are a few things that are for sale too... Lots of really modern things have shown up like GTNs... And more modern transponders... Load it up, if you can... PP thoughts only, I have bought things from Alan... Best regards, -a-

I have a really early O1... many older BK boxes that were leftovers... specifically the transponder and GPS in mine is older than the ship listed above... the JPI, Kx155, and audio panel are near identical... That makes this E’s panel... nicer than mine when looking at some of the individual boxes... Same as mine for a couple of boxes... Of course, when hanging out at Alan’s shop, you can find ways of updating many of the old boxes in any panel... I’d really like a GTN.... PP thoughts only, not a plane sales guy...
