Suggestions for Tucson

We have a trip planned to Tucson. The destination is on the west side of the city. Does anyone have an opinion about the GA facilities there? I presume Tucson Int'l has more rental car availability, and it seems to have a very large number of FBOs. According to Airnav the fuel prices at Tucson Executive Terminal, Premier, and maybe Tucson Jet Center aren't too bad, but are they friendly/inexpensive to singles? Am I better off going to Ryan Field?
