Nice video. I flew a dual Dynon Skyview in my RV for 450 hours.  Loved it.  Feel lost without it, although I have thousands of hours with a conventional panel.  When I built the airplane I put one display in front of the pilot, other in front of the co-pilot.  It was out of my scan, if I looked at it, it was just a little far away to be useful.  Wound up moving my  radio stack down and putting the 7" co-pilot display in the center over the radios.  Much better.  Found the best use for the center display was to a full screen map. Bigger is better, as long as it fits.  If there is one fault in your video, the Dynon system is even better than you think.

I found after upgrading my panel that much of the old stuff can be sold, offsetting some of the money you will spend.  If I had the money you are spending, I would do what you are doing, full Dynon, plus the Avidyne 540.  If they are still including a free transponder, I would go with that and sell the Lynx.  If not, I would go Dynon transponder and sell the Lynx.  I would also use the PS Engineering PAR200B for the audio panel and second com radio.  The Dynon GPS is your third nav source.  Wow! The ink isn't dry on my check and I am drooling over glass.

PF,

Find @Yetti...

He has a thread detailing the install of a Dynon in his M20F...

I think in engineering terms... it is described as PFM...   :)

The scaled cut-outs you have made are awesome... the engineers called them Paper Dolls... :)

Remind me of your real name if able...

Best regards,

-a-

See if this helps with the other 1.5% of your decision process...

If you haven’t selected the shop yet... we have an MSer that installs Dynons down in his shop in FL... find Jesse Saint... Florida economics might make it worthwhile...
