Our new Mooney

Just got him today.  My daughter nemed him Mooney which seems to fit.  He is an Australian Sheppard and is supposed to be smart, quick, hopefully efficient and he has a different tail.

Here's mine! He's not named Mooney but he's a great Aussie companion.

Picked up the new pup on Friday. Bottom dog is Rocket. Tried like a damn to name the other one Missile. No takers. So, Lizzie it is.

MissLizzie is awfully close to a Missile, is she?

Try that a few times...if you get it just right... everyone wins!

I miss my Brittany . . . Smart, fun dogs. But energetic!

Thankfully my Mooney doesn't sniff dog's butts (or that of other airplanes) and doesn't eat it's own detritus.  Dogs are truly foul creatures.  I love them, but they are foul.

Well those names are easier off the tongue than say naming the big guy on the lower stair M20K. (here M20K, here...Sit M20K!).  And the little guy upstair M20J.  Fetch M20J!  Fetch!

Yet they are the most loyal loving creatures on earth and have far fewer foul habits than their human masters

This is my second and third Britt... Lost Hunter two years ago. Much like a Mooney, once you have one, you just can't go and get anything else. Great family pets and planes!!

We just had to put our old boy down last week.  He was a good flyer until about 14 - he and my daughters were BFFs. Little one (20 mo) asking about him all the time

These guys don’t mess up w&B to much..Cruise Missle, Rocket launcher and Crash died., named cruiser and rocket after , The Mooney Missile  and Rocket., the older two were crash and burn.

I love doggy threads, children threads, kitty threads.  Bunnies are good.  We need to do this sometimes... I smile every time I log into this thread.

And I don't like to think of the type of people you hang out with if their hygiene and habits make dogs look good.  My dog have the unfortunate habit of incessantly licking her genitals, for instance.  And that isn't the worst of it.  Wonderful little creature I love, but foul.
