exM20K
I had two very nice models made of our 231 some 15 years ago, and I cannot recall the vendor. If anyone here could point me towards a vendor they've been satisfied with, I'd appreciate it. -dan

carusoam
There was a thread around here a while ago... People had pics of the various models they had somebody build... I was unable to get a search to work... The words Mooney model come up pretty frequently... Best regards, -a-
BDPetersen
I think most are made in the Philippines. Very detail oriented. Used to get models of company aircraft from ramp guys in Manila. Only issue I’ve had is when I ordered a model of my 310 from the guy at OSH years ago. There was some kind of dispute between him and them and the model showed up 2 years later. Impeccably detailed down to the unpainted fin cap on the vertical stab. BUT unfortunately my 310F with “tuna tanks” was awarded new style canted tanks on the model. Sigh. I decided it might be easier to convert my plane to match.
steingar
I was able to get inexpensive models of my Cessna 150 and my Cherokee (not with my tail number or anything). Haven't seen any cheap Mooney models. One of these days I'll get profligate and buy one.
flyboy0681
A good friend gave me a wooden model of an M20J for a Christmas gift this year. Although it does have my registration number painted on it, the paint scheme is stock. Does anybody know where I can send it out to be redone in my colors? Eight8Victor
Just a thought, but we have an accomplished painter here that can do a beautiful painting of your bird. I get more compliments on the painting than my wood model.
PT20J
Thinking this might be the best way to visualize that new paint scheme idea.
