DrewMcKee
I was digging through some stuff today and came across some old Mooney sales literature. I don't even recall where/when I had gotten it....but neat to see after all these years.

DrewMcKee
Thanks!! I guess I had a vacuum failure. It seems every time I post a photo to the forum, it turns upside down. 1
carusoam
Imagine for a moment... An all electric M20C.... Multiple color screens with WAAS capability... Flight data being recorded, transmitted and shared... No mechanical gyros... And a step that magically retracts using electrons.... Pics of it being shared world-wide... Al Mooney would be happy... Bill Wheat too... Best regards, -a-

Best regards, -a- What else would make Bill Wheat happy would be a 201 style windscreen and cowl on your all electric C model. He told me so ! Well, he didn’t mention the electric part..... but the rest he did !
David Lloyd
Almost spilled my coffee when I saw the first picture. My airplane left the factory as N6835V before going to Canada for 20 years.
ThorFlight
While they might have reconsidered the headline with 30 years of hindsight, the marketing team back in '77 definitely used their imagination for this campaign. Not all the issues manifested as envisioned... (DABS == ADS-B??), but RNAV was certainly spot-on. And for us CBs, saving "energy" will never go out of style. My J is not quite there yet, but I'm pretty confident that she'll still be going strong 10 years from now. All in all, I think they did a pretty fine job of keeping this marketing promise. Now if they can just rekindle some of that late 70's gumption for the decade ahead...
carusoam
Write in #155 on the reader service page... Is that like circling 155 on the bingo card? was the reader service page Faxable? Things we did before the internet age... Best regards, -a-
