For additional info... the word balun will be easy to find...

RG400... everyone is doing it... if the ceiling is coming down...

Stuff that can be read around MS...  much of it written by the furry one...  :)

When I was a young thing and living in a communal house where we shared everything. My good friend had that. He had to do it sideways.

 

BTW, it was a coed house. Not that that matters.

I’ve seen some of those with a very small screw through the disc into the metal rod, this keeps the rod in the correct plain.  I don’t know if it was stock or added by a hangar fairy
