PJClark
Right strobe light is out on 86 252/Rocket. See pic: 1. Anyone know what that is? Hoskins? Whelan? Part number? 2. Can the strobe tube be replaced alone, or is the strobe/position light all one unit? 3. If it's all one unit, clearly I'm going LED to replace them, prob with Whelen 650e`s, which oddly are cheaper than the non led replacement if I'm looking at the right thing! I looked and couldn't find this exact question answered elsewhere...if it has been a link to the correct thread is all I need! Thx
carusoam
Find @OSUAV8TER for some LED options... your log books probably have the best record of what may be in there... Looking in the wing may reveal what power module you have... With all the people going LED lately, there are many used power modules and strobe lights coming available... Best regards, -a-

marcusku
I had a strobe problem this summer that turned out to be a corroded connector. I first tried a new bulb, then a different power supply then figured out voltage wasn't getting to the bulb. Something to check to save you some potential trouble. BillC
PJ, it looks like one I replaced a while ago. It was a Whelen A610.
Niko182
In my opinion, replace it with a 650E, and never deal with it again.
