OSUAV8TER
Greetings Mooney pilots! I have a brand NEW Whelen Aviation Technologies 28V Orion 500 series tail position and strobe light. Part number OR5002V. Price is $399.99 plus $15 shipping. I have this light (14V) version on the tail of my Bonanza and it syncs to the wingtip LEDs and they are BRIGHT! I believe in the see and be seen theory and LED position and strobe lights really help that while flying VFR. You can pick it up off my website at http://www.gallagheraviationllc.com/products and if you have any questions, PM me here or shoot me an email at gallagheraviationllc@gmail.com. https://youtu.be/xY6Ts4mUi-I - Youtube video of the tail light in action
Unit74
It most definitely is stupid bright. I have two of them installed on my Lance and they never get turned off. Worth the price for a quality light.

Strobes need to be turned off during ground operations.

They are turned off once I clear the runway.
