Time for a refresh '66 M20F

Now is the time to clean everything up, take care of any surface corrosion, take out old insulation, get rid of the plaster-like stuff they put on the skins if you can and epoxy paint the interior.  

I have a 1968 F, pictures are attached of the interior before we started rebuilding.  You only get one chance to do this.  Then we starting rebuilding it into a new model Mooney.

That's a pretty bird.  I did the one-piece windows to my '68 in July, no regerts.  I'm planning the cowling mod as well.  I covet your wingtips, but it looks like they aren't available anymore :-(

If I hit the lotto, I'll by a TBM - and I'll have my Mooney refurbished so it looks like it came out of the factory yesterday.

This is exactly what I am going for. I want a nice updated M20F. I love the way it flies. It just needed some big updates.

@LunkenPilot, is it really a '66F? There were only 3 built that year, ser # 660001-660003.

Planes are like automobiles, a '67 model may have been built and certified in '66. '67 is thought of as the first year for the mid body, 536 were built that year, ser 670001-670539.

Yes, I is technically a 67 then.  It was build and delivered in 1966.
