gsxrpilot Posted November 1, 2019 Report Share Posted November 1, 2019 While you're going to all the trouble with a CNC machine and all that... you should throw a piece of aluminum down first and get the CNC to cut it in a manner that will hold your instruments in a standard 6 pack configuration instead of the random shotgun layout the Mooney factory gave you. Figure 50% more work for 200% better panel. While you're at it, use Nulite rings for better lighting. All owner produced keeps the cost down but raises the effort. Something like this...
