RogueOne
I sent in my 530 for Waas upgrade and also the 330 for software upgrade. 530 is back, but the 330 is delayed. Mechanic said “Everybody waited until last minute and Garmin is backlogged”. Anybody else experiencing this? Bummer.
ArtVandelay
Yea, this was mentioned over on Beechtalk. A lot of people assume the ADSB requirement would be delayed.I knew it would only be delayed if the government wasn’t ready.Tom
Jesse Saint
I received 2 330ES upgrades this week.

We had already done a 335 in our plane that is being sold. I guess I am trying to imagine the backlog. This is only a software update. How long can that take? Two plus weeks and counting... Jesse Saint
2-3 weeks I think.

You should ask Boeing (6 months and counting waiting on 737 Max fix).Tom

DAVIDWH
You should ask Boeing (6 months and counting waiting on 737 Max fix). Just wondering if Garmins ESP servo driven stability system in their GFC 500 autopilot is similar to Boeings 737 MCAS system rolled out with only one sensor? Just wondering?? RogueOne
Weird thread creep. I was just wondering if anyone else is impacted by a delayed turn around on a transponder software update at Garmin. I see zero comparison to multiple planes down with several hundred lives lost....but duly noted they are both delays due to software. Thanks for the input? RogueOne
Engineer joke. Now I know why I didn’t get it. Insert Sheldon Cooper laugh.
