N201MKTurbo
I don’t know much about it. I don’t think anybody was hurt. I was told it was a stall while practicing short field takeoffs. Plane hit off the end of the runway and skidded across the ramp.

N201MKTurbo
The cabin is in remarkable condition after a fairly decent crash.

I was up flying when it happened. They have been doing a lot of repaving on the ramp lately so most of the planes were moved to the north 40 and haven't moved back yet. I know - not to make light but no one is hurt... with the two of them standing around looking at that wing I can just see the bubble text above one of their heads saying, I think it might be bent. Do you think it’s bent?
Shadrach
The damage looks as though it did half a cartwheel.
fantom
So much for the transition training and flight review. Perhaps a forgiving, fixed gear, Cirrus would have been a better choice.
SantosDumont
1 bounce ok, 2 bounces, go around, 3 bounces and well... this is what happens.

Doesn’t sound like THAT was the scenario though... Glad the ramp was clear of activity and appears only metal bent. As someone that ALSO had his only incident while under instruction I feel for the pilot. That is one STEEP friggin’ learning curve. Definition of a BAD DAY...
rbridges
At least it's a newer model. Hopefully it's worth fixing and not destined for spare parts.

Andy95W
Maybe there was a Comanche 400 taxiing to the fuel pump, and he didn't want to wait an hour for him to refuel... 2
201er
At least there’s a good service center on the field. But how did it get all that way sideways from the runway to the pumps? That’s a good distance.

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing.
