theflyingdoctor
Hi everyone! Have been looking into buying a Mooney, and have looked at a few airplanes but just curious what everyone on here would pay for this plane! Thanks in advance.. https://www.controller.com/listings/aircraft/for-sale/98544505/1967-mooney-m20f-exec-
ArtVandelay
Two things: Buy shoulder belts Doesn’t mention ADSB You’ll need those 2 things by year end IMO. Edit: I also would add a engine monitor, cannot believe it has glass panel with no engine monitor. Tom
Danb
Agree with Art, the improvements to the plane makes the plane worth 70000, is it passes a solid ppi. Heck of a panel
chriscalandro
Adsb in that shouldn’t be that big a deal, but won’t be a slide in replacement. New antenna and some wiring. Looks like a great airplane.
larrynimmo
I have a major issue with this....how can a four cylinder engine have compressions for 6? any ppi need to check steel frame below the pilots window for corrosion. MikeOH
Something's weird with the prop and governor times... 76 hours on prop since OH in Jan 2018,...governor 0 since OH in 2005, what does that mean? Also, pretty sure the fuel is 64, not 54 gallons. I'd look at everything carefully given all the mistakes in the ad!
carusoam
If I wanted that plane... i would pay the asking price... IF it passed my specific PPI requirements... Everything has to work as advertised. It is a unique plane with very many updates... I would also add a few things like Transition Training, and a delivery flight, to go with the PPI... Why pay retail, and then some...? Have you seen another plane like that? Have you seen the bidding wars around here? Is that what the OP is looking for? Best regards, -a-
gsxrpilot
If everything works and it passes a proper Mooney shop (Top Gun or LASAR) pre-buy, it's then worth every bit of $70K.
