Without trying to highjack the convo too much, anyone knows where I can get a similar schematic for 67M20F? I looked through M20F Parts Catalog(revised 1976), but didn't see it there.  I'm trying to replace small bolts on the spinner dome, similar to the ones marked #11 and #15 on the schematic.

Sorry for butting in

Ukrs,

Check which spinner you have...

You are showing the pointy spinner like an M20J uses...

Andy is showing the bullet shaped spinner that the mid 60s Mooney uses...

Mine finally gave up the ghost even after doing the taping procedure. I'm leaning the direction of the A2295-5P instead of welding.

8V,

know what would help?

What prop / spinner did that come off?

if you put a Mooney model right next to your flat earth comment, that could be helpful... :)

its the old style  J spinner for a Hartzell  pretty much only used on conversions , as every J that I have seen has a Macauley prop...  Plane will fly fine with that crack in it , it will be a bitch to fab...    The Macauley prop blades are farther from the hub flange  than Hartzell , so they are not interchangeable..

@carusoam Yes, it’s a Hartzell Scimitar conversion on a ‘76 F. Nice work Alan. I’d like to replace it anyway if anyone knows where I can find one.

I actually have the composite spinner from the Scimitar , but it is for a standard cowl , I think yours may have an ARI cowl , if not , you could use a standard spinner..

I have recently come into possession of this model spinner and back plate if anyone is still looking.
