Reno PPI Recommendations?

Hi, new member here!

I'm looking at an M20C in the Reno area, and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a good mechanic in the greater area to go to for a PPI?

Welcome aboard!

Have you considered LASAR over in Lakeport, CA?  They are a little pricey, but as the closest Mooney Service Center it might be worth it to have them take a look.  If you don't want to go that route...

In a few days I should be able to comment on the place that's doing my PPI (Reno area).  We'll see how it goes and I'll report back.

My mechanic is Rich Strand at Carson Valley Aircraft services at MEV, just South of RNO.  Very knowledgeable Mooney man.  He's doing a 231 annual as we speak.

Thanks! Definitely let me know who you are using, I'd be curious. I gave LASAR a call too, we'll see what their availability looks like, but it'd definitely be easier to get it done somewhere closer, especially if it ends up taking more time than a single day.

Ha!  Rich is who I'm working with for my PPI.  Hard to get on the phone, stays really busy, but seems to be good.  Probably gonna get to mine on Monday.
